Vintage, decorative and whimsical sturdy wire basket chicken with light straw-like nest and 12 eggs. The wire is curved and curled and is gray-brown in color. There are no flaws in its construction. Very well made basket. There are 12 plastic eggs that are lightly spotted in pastel colors. There are no flaws in the eggs. It is 11" long, 9 1/2" tall and 8" wide. These chicken and egg baskets were very popular in the 70s and used as decorations in the kitchen, especially by chicken collectors. . There are still many chicken collectors who would love this basket. It would also make a nice gift. Very Good+ Condition.

This is the most unusual Bunny Rabbit that I have ever seen. He is is made of stiff brown and tan shaded bristles. He is not made for cleaning off your shoes. Apparently his only purpose is to sit on something and look cute and make you smile. His four feet are made of wood that is stained. His ears, nose and mouth are made of a heavy leaf of some kind that has been painted. His eyes looks like beans that have been shellacked. His head and body bristles are secured in a spine of wire that has been machine twisted, and the end portion has been folded back to the body to form a cotton tail. Bristles are neatly shorn and you cannot see the small but heavy twisted wire spine. He is 11” long, 7 ½” tall and 5 ½” wide. He would insist on being a centerpiece for a rabbit collection.
